LAUNCH Tech USA announced it can soon release the first of this type, Real-Time Remote Diagnostics platform called GOLO. With the GOLO OBD interface with from any of the newly released LAUNCH Android based Scan Tool tablets, a store owner or technician will can perform remote vehicle diagnostics on customers’ OBDII vehicles (1996 and newer). With GOLO, the technician can remotely read and clear codes, perform running health check, view critical live data and a lot more.
Pulling from Launch’s understanding the professional scan tool sector, GOLO goes beyond Generic OBDII, including use of OEM enhanced coverage for those popular vehicle makes and systems.
The GOLO OBDII connector transmits live vehicle data via Bluetooth on the car owner’s cellphone (Android or IOS). Using the phone’s cellular network, results are given to the technician’s LAUNCH Android Scan Tool, all without requiring a further mobile data plan.
